A healthy pet examination is required once a year for every pet admitted to Caring Hands Pet Hospital for any service, including grooming and boarding. For pets over the age of seven a thorough examination is strongly recommended every six months. These semi-annual examinations monitor for obesity, dental disease, weight loss. arthritis, tumor formation, and internal organ disease. Including, but not limited to, heart, liver and kidney disease.
